Volume Serial Number Editor Command Line advanced command line utility for Windows console environments to change the disk drive volume serial number. Disk volume serial number is automatically generated and assigned when you format a disk partition and there is no documented way to change it without reformatting the disk volume. The format of volume serial number is: XXXX-XXXX (X maybe 0-9, A-F). Volume Serial Number Editor Command Line allows you to modify disk drive's volume serial number (not hard disk's physical serial number which you can find at back of your hard disk) without reformatting hard drive. Volume Serial Number Editor Command Line supports NTFS, FAT, FAT32 and exFAT file systems. Includes 32-bit and native 64-bit versions.
Keywords: disk, drive, volume, serial, number, NTFS, FAT, FAT32, exFAT, change, modify, edit, command, line, console, software
