While I was using Vir.IT, the Lite Monitor warned me with a message about a software that was putting itself in auto execution.
Since I’m not very skilled with PC, I drop an email to the support team. In the afternoon they reply me, saying that the file was a new variant of virus.
In the late afternoon, I manually activated an update (as suggested from the support team), starting a scan on the detected file, Vir.IT eXplorer Lite was able to remove the infection.
Long time has passed since my last scan so I decided to use the Vir.IT scheduler to start a full scan of my hard drive during the week end.

I give it a try some months ago, I was coming from another security IT vendor, I’ve used it alongside with my installed antivirus.
I didn't see any PC slow down or problem related to the use of both AVs, I think this is one (of many) advantages that VirIT eXplorer Lite can offer you.
