The reliability of the encrypted container is further enhanced by the built-in backup option, which allows you to create compressed backups of the contents of the drive, and of the encryption key. This makes disaster recovery a simple process. All the information protected by Dekart Private Disk is transparently encrypted with Dekart's NIST-certified implementation of AES 256-bit - the strongest encryption algorithm available today. Private Disk supports all the versions of Windows that are in common use, providing the same features, whether you use the discontinued Windows 98, or the new 64-bit releases of Windows.
